The Way
The Way will be held this year on April 18th and 19th (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday). This evening event is an outreach to our community in which we provide the opportunity for guests to travel through the scenes depicting the final days/hours of Jesus' life: his miracles, the Last Supper, the trial, and the Crucifixion. During this journey, guests will hear sections of the biblical narrative leading to Jesus' death on the cross.
For this event to be possible, we need at least 200 people to volunteer to wear costumes and be part of the scenes. The impact of this experience on our friends and neighbors is incredible, as they hear the narrative from scripture and see what each scene might have looked like.
We need men, women, youth, and children (3rd through 5th grade, accompanied by a parent/guardian). This is a great thing to do with your family and friends, and it's also a great way to meet new people!
Child care for infants through 2nd grade will be provided during The Way for all participants.
