Midweek Session

MIDweek Session 3

The Good Book
The Bible is a big book.  Hundreds of characters and thousands of ideas parade across its pages from beginning to end.  From the uninitiated to the very seasoned, readers of the Bible will always find something new to learn in "The Good Book."  Pastors Deron Spoo and Kyle Idleman will visit the most salient themes about God in the Bible.  With the goal of providing a sketch of each idea, each session will break down the concept into two smaller sections to unpack the meat behind the theme.  At the center of the series stands God, and each theme will focus on who He is in relationship to His created order.
(Facilitator: Dick McCracken)

Christian Beliefs: "God and Us"
What is the Bible?  What is God like?  What is the Trinity?  This class will examine some of the most essential teachings of the Christian faith.
(Facilitator: Pastor Dusty)

The Gospel of Mark
This class will take two terms to cover the entirety of Mark's gospel.  In addition to verse by verse study, the class will answer broader questions, such as: Who is Mark?  How did he know Jesus?  How is Mark different from the other gospels?  How is it the same?  Where does the book end?
(Facilitator: Pastor Dave, George Barr)
